Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her mother, who is native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. She was the first born of a clan of six children. Four are her siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria region of London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatizing and she did not study English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being required to switch schools. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. When she was 16, she quit school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person who hired her to be model for professional models.
