An attractive, clever and talented actor, she's an example to Asian actors aspiring to become big names in Hollywood. She gained fame after several popular role in shows. The most notable was her role in the Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. Her sudden fame translated into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren as the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. In the same period, she also starred in box-office failures including Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing famous characters from animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell.
